Bonnie Allen, Bald Point Park Ranger, contacted me today and asked that I let you know that in conjunction with Keep America Beautiful Day, Saturday, March 15th, there will be a beach cleanup program for Alligator and Bald Points.

As has been done in the past, Bonnie will be set up in front of the Alligator Point Firehouse by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday to dispense gloves and trash bags. I am assuming that a dumpster will be located at the firehouse for the weekend for disposal of trash picked up on the beach.

This is a good way for each of us to give a little back to the community and also enjoy a nice walk on the beach, so please participate if you possibly can.
