The Growth and Economic Development Workshop

March 18, 2003, 6:00 to 9:30 PM

Lanark Village Community Center

This workshop will be an opportunity for business, environmental, community and government leaders and others to work together:

  • To clarify Franklin County growth and economic development issues and options

  • To develop recommendations for how these issues can be addressed

  • To test for community consensus on the recommendations

  • To determine next steps needed to develop these and other recommendations

Please come prepared to offer reasonable recommendations for what the public and private sector can do to achieve your desired outcome, and those of others identified in the workshop 1 report (Available at http://consensus.fsu.edu/franklin/ or at the libraries and Franklin Co. Planning Dept.).
