We had over 35 people from the community that jumped right in and helped with the cleanup (on March 15). And more said that they would be out tomorrow. I would also really like to thank Bob Menching (ms?). He was out all during the week cleaning Bald Point and along 370. He did hours of work! Thank you Bob!

Some of the best news is that so many people that worked along the beaches said that they had trouble finding trash. This shows that the community does not need a special day to keep their beaches clean...they just do it!

The dumpster at the fire station will be open until Monday (March 17). So, if people have items in their yards or homes that they need to remove before hurricane season, take advantage of the dumpster.
