Good NEWS…
- The weather station operated by Playing Hooky Enterprises is
operational again. Ed was able to get another Davis weather station (the
old one was done in by Dennis) and to get all the software working. Please

and click on "Weather on the Beach" at Alligator Point, Florida. A link is
also provided on our Links Page.
We are very lucky to have a weather station with such
capability here at the Point! Use Ed’s weather data to plan your outdoor
adventures and to prepare for any approaching storms.
- There are property owners that were not severally impacted by
Hurricane Dennis. Some had little to no damage! These areas remind us of
how we will look once again when we recover.
- The level of response from county, state and federal agencies, from
utilities and emergency organizations has been remarkable and quite
encouraging.
- The spirit of cooperation and restoration is alive and strong at the
Point. Please continue to network with neighbors to get needed information
out.
- Coastal Systems Master Naturalist class starts August 5. The
registration deadline is July 28th. For more details go to:
