The Franklin County Emergency Management Office is responsible for coordinating the following:
* hurricane preparation classes
* safety training for schools & civic organizations
* Public training information
* Public assistance after floods, fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.
* Training government agencies for emergencies
* Mitigation of hazards
