As reported in the October 27^th issue of the Franklin Chronicle, The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded Franklin County a matching grant for 2.4 million dollars. The Joint Participation Agreement will be submitted in the next few weeks.

Work associated with this project included resurfacing and widening CR 370 from US 98 to the Nature Conservancy. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

Government Services Group, the consultants doing the funding options feasibility study regarding the beach renourishment project is moving forward with the study and a pubic hearing is expected in late November or early December.
