The Alligator Point Taxpayers Association, The Franklin Chronicle, and Oyster Radio are hosting a "Political Forum" Thursday August 14, 2008 beginning at 6:00 PM at Chillas Hall in Lanark Village.

Candidates for Sheriff, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, Superintendent of Schools, School Board District 5, U.S. Representative District 2, State Representative District 10 County Commission District 5 and Circuit Judges will participate in a "job interview" style forum.

A second forum will be held Thursday October 16^th.

In addition to this opportunity to meet the candidates, various candidates will present themselves at 10:00AM following the next three APTA meetings. APTA meets the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM at the Mission by the Sea Church.
