In Celebration of Recreation & Parks Month

Bald Point State Park will be offering a guided interpretive program focusing on the natural features and history of the park on Sunday July 19th at 9:30 a.m. The program will start at the large parking lot across the street from Sunrise beach access on Bald Point Road.

The program will run about an hour and leads visitors on a tour of the park’s interior. Program topics will include plant communities, historical uses of the land, restoration practices and recreation possibilities.

These items are suggested for taking the tour:

  • Bug Spray
  • Water
  • Comfortable shoes for varied terrain
  • Sunscreen
